Are there emerging technologies and innovative strategies that can be effective in the classroom that will ultimately improve student achievement and increase teacher productivity? Are there dangers?
We'll explore these questions and engage in a variety of activities using varied technologies in lesson planning, teaching, record-keeping and enhancing communication.

30 great years in the classroom, (well, the first 3 or 4 were a little shaky). Focused on integrating emerging technologies into the curriculum since the latter 1970's. Yep, those first years consisted of extensive flowcharting and filling out Fortran coding sheets, turning in punched cards.
Currently an adjunct professor at Willamette U. (Ed Tech 520, and Ed533- Math Methods & Research) and supervising student teachers. Completed a project for ODE (Dept of Education) providing 'District technology planning' workshops and reviewing their Ed Tech plans. One of my favorite projects was working with the UO (go Ducks) administrative licensure program developing a web2.0 based digital portfolio system for all their candidates.
