Post #2: Course Requirements and Grading

Course Requirements Attendance and Participation Regular, timely attendance and participation are critical. Should you need to miss a class time, contact the instructor as soon as possible. It is difficult to make up the collaborative interaction that takes place. Communication/Collaboration Check your gmail account frequently (at least daily), and any other forms of communication that are designated by your instructor. Assignments Each class will have a set of required task(s) to complete, generally due by the following meeting. Submissions will vary, including email, blog, website, or other technologies discussed in class. The final project will be an opportunity for the students to integrate technology into their instructional planning. Grading Policy In order to receive a passing mark for the course, students must: Attend and actively participate in all required classes. Demonstrate an increase in their ability to use technology in the classroom. Complete and receive at least a Meets or Exceeds Expectations on all required tasks. Readings: No required text. Reading and research assigned as appropriate.
